App-specific trigger for Perfect Keyboard?

Post by mhains » Thu Apr 06, 2017 2:17 pm

Hi there! I've created a macro which replaces the period "." with a CTRL-TAB for my Logitech Presentation remote (it technically only works with Powerpoint).

Now, when I hit the unnecessary "blank screen" button which transmits a "." Perfect Keyboard changes tabs in Chrome. Perfect!

But when I'm not in Chrome, typing a period still gives me a CTRL-TAB.

Is there any way to get Perfect Keyboard to:

IF in CHROME

THEN "."="CTRL-TAB"

ELSE "."="."

Thanks!

You can define "macro scope" for each macro like this:

This allows you to specify what windows (applications) the macro triggers will take effect.

There is the same "Macro Scope" tab in the macro group properties window. It allows you to set the scope for all macros from the given macro group and sub-groups.
